The R.G. Hardie PRC09P is a long plastic practice chanter, finished with an engraved nickel ferrule, imitation ivory sole, and Twist-Trap top.
 
New for 2025, the engraved ferrule is offered in three elegant designs: Celtic, Thistle, and Renaissance.
 
The Twist-Trap top helps prevent moisture build-up on the reed, reducing the risk of cut-out and enabling longer, more consistent practice sessions. The top splits at the ferrule for easy access to the water trap, allowing excess moisture to be removed. For best performance, we recommend drying it out after each session.
 
Designed with countersunk finger holes for playing comfort, the chanter comes complete with a reed.
